Plymouth Argyle caretaker boss Neil Dewsnip talked up Leicester City at the same time as he delighted in a shock 1-0 success over the Championship leaders at Home Park. Struggling Argyle became the second team in a week to defeat Enzo Maresca’s ailing promotion hopefuls thanks to Mustapha Bundu’s 21st-minute winner. The Foxes, beaten by the same scoreline at Millwall in midweek, had enough chances to win the game with ease, but squandered the lot to hand the advantage in the title race to Leeds and Ipswich when they play on Saturday. Argyle climbed to 16th on the back of their first home win in seven, five points clear of the bottom three, and Dewsnip was a happy man.He said: “I’m delighted. We knew exactly how difficult it was going to be. We knew we were going to play against an outstanding football team in possession of the ball, but we had a game plan and thankfully it’s paid off. We’ve shown the country that we’re very difficult to beat and the crowd have shown how difficult it is to come to Home Park and when we’re all joined up we’re quite a force..“Of course, we’d have liked to have more of the ball, but sometimes you have to suck it up and put your bodies on the line. But it was our night, and I’m delighted for our players. They worked incredibly hard, harder than they probably realised they could.“We know it’s not done yet, so we’re going to work really hard in the next three games to get more points. But we have shown incredible resilience and it’s massive for us. Discussing Bundu’s winner, Dewsnip admitted to Sky Sports that the goal hero was not always as ruthless in front of goal as he proved against Leicester. He added: “We’ve seen the ball go over the stand, we’ve seen it go into the next field, and occasionally we seen that and it goes in. It was his night and he scored us a fantastic goal.
