Wilfried Zaha’s representatives have flown into London this week to hold talks with West Ham about a summer transfer.

The news outlet report that the 31-year-old winger is a key target for expected new manager Julen Lopetegui this summer.

And the club held talks with his agents on Monday, with the outlet reporting that no other club spoke with them during their two-day stay in the capital.

Julen Lopetegui to make Zaha his first West Ham United signing? Zaha only moved away from London last summer when he left his boyhood club Crystal Palace on a free transfer to join Galatasaray, and he has done well in Turkey too.

With 10 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions he has adapted well, and gained Champions League experience while he was there too.

But his skillset is most definitely better suited to the Premier League and after losing his place as a starter, he is likely to want to return to the league where he made a name for himself.

David Moyes rejected the chance to sign him last summer, but there is no doubting his qualities and it wasn’t that long ago that Ally McCoist was describing him as “absolutely outstanding” for his performances.

Lopetegui loves a direct winger and Zaha would add more depth to the squad that is currently short of options in attack, so this could be an ideal start to the new era at the London Stadium.
