Tottenham Hotspur have held regular transfer talks with Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk over the possibility of signing Georgiy Sudakov this summer, according to The Express.The report claims that interest in the 21-year-old is not only coming from the North of London, but also from Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Chelsea.Shakhtar are in no rush to sell the highly-rated midfielder since they are prepared to let his valuation increase even further with the prospect of having a successful tournament with Ukraine at Euro 2024.The Ukrainian side previously pocketed an initial £62million from the sale of Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea and believe that they can receive another sizeable fee from the sale of Sudakov.There are a number of other clubs who are monitoring the progress of the youngster who has 14 senior international caps to his name and one goal (transfermarkt).Sudakov has scored 20 goals in 101 games across all competitions since breaking into Shakhtar’s first-team in 2020 and is widely regarded as one of the finest young talents in Ukrainian football.Tottenham have held talks over a deal for Ukranian talent Georgiy SudakovShakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin spoke last month about the prospect of Sudakov leaving this summer and believes he will end up at a big club.He told the Evening Standard: “This summer window, he has a big chance to move to some big clubs.“We have had some contacts with big clubs and some are not negotiating with us directly but are getting a feel for the summer environment.“He will definitely move to a top European club this summer.
