Mohammed Kudus has shared something extremely exciting that West Ham United manager Julen Lopetegui has just told him.
Julen Lopetegui was named as the new West Ham manager in place of David Moyes earlier this summer, and Mohammed Kudus will hopefully go from strength to strength under the Spaniard.
Lopetegui will undoubtedly be excited at the prospect of working with a player like Kudus.
The Ghanaian has actually admitted that he could be tempted to leave the London Stadium if the opportunity arises to really challenge himself as a top club.
However, he’s our player for now, and will be until next summer at the very least.
One way that we will be able to keep him at the London Stadium is by pushing for the top six in the league, and winning trophies, or at least challenging for them.
Lopetegui has certainly set his stall out since moving to West Ham. He has already signed Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham.
A deal for Max Kilman is apparently close to completion, and the Spaniard is planning to make many more new signings this summer as well.
If the West Ham fans weren’t already buzzing about the prospect of the 57-year-old at the helm, they will be now after hearing what Kudus has said…

The new Hammers boss is expected to take us to another level over the next few years.
I think he should be pushing to get us back inside the top seven, and bring some European football back to the London Stadium.
What the West Ham fans really want to see is a new brand of free-flowing, attacking football – something we didn’t see for the last two years under Moyes.
So what did Lopetegui tell the players about his plans for the future during his first meeting with them?
When speaking to The Athletic, Kudus was asked about West Ham’s new manager Lopetegui, and he lifted the lid on what the 57-year-old told him when he first met him.
“It was just a basic introduction about how he wants to play attacking football,” Kudus said.
“We’ll find out more about how he wants to play in pre-season (which has now started at the club’s Rush Green training base), but it was good to find out his plans for the team.”
How exciting is that to hear.
Obviously results will be the number one priority for Lopetegui, but if he implements an exciting brand of football at the London Stadium, the fans will be on his side immediately.
Football is about entertainment after all – something that Moyes failed to recognise during the latter stages of his time in charge of the club.
With the former Wolves boss at the helm, I fully expect the quality of football to improve, and I think he’ll get us back inside the top seven or eight as well.
Mohammed Kudus certainly sounds excited to play under Julen Lopetegui, and I think the West Ham fans should be buzzing ahead of the new season.
