Everton’s summer transfer window has certainly kicked into life over the last few hours with some big news coming out of Merseyside.
The Toffees look set to lose Amadou Onana over the coming hours to Aston Villa with the Belgian agreeing to a move to Villa Park.
It is a move which is expected to see Everton bring in around £50m but the Blues are going to have to send some of the profits to Onana’s former side Lille.
As one player looks set for the exit doors at Goodison Park, it seems Sean Dyche‘s side are not looking to hang around in signing some more players.
The Toffees have now made a follow-up move for one of their summer targets having already been knocked back over a deal for the player.

Although Everton have made two additions to their side this summer in Iliman Ndiaye and Tim Iroegbunam there are some gaps opening up due to player sales.
Ben Godfrey is the club’s largest sale of the summer so far with the centre-back making the move to Champions League side Atalanta.
However, that deal could be trumped by Onana’s expected move to Villa Park over the coming days.
But defence remains an area which Everton are seemingly looking to bolster ahead of the season opener.
According to Ajansspor, Everton have now lodged a €20m (£16.8m) bid for the Galatasaray defender Davinson Sanchez.
It is claimed the Turkish outfit are looking for a bid closer to €25m (£21m) this summer to get a potential deal done.
Negotiations between the two clubs are said to be ongoing as Galatasaray look to make a healthy profit on the player they signed last summer from Tottenham Hotspur for just €9m (£7.5m).

The Colombian spent years in north London having made the move from Ajax back in 2017 for a fee in the region of £42m.
Over his time at Spurs, Sanchez made 143 appearances in the Premier League and played under some huge names in the N17 dugout.
One of those being Jose Mourinho who has some positive words to say about the centre-back in 2021.
