They seem to have lowered their demands now though, and he’d be such a good signing for the Hammers for that kind of money.
However, with Arsenal now having thrown their hat into the ring in the race for his signature, our hopes of signing him could be well and truly dead in the water.
What a shame that is, because the versatile forward would be perfect for the Hammers.
Yilmaz really stood out for Turkey out in Germany at Euro 2024, and he is a hot commodity this summer.
He bagged seven goals and 12 assists in 55 games for Galatasaray last season, and played a key role in their historical title win.

Yilmaz is a right-footed right winger – a rare commodity in this day and age. However, he can play out wide on the left as well, and through the middle as a striker if need be.
The 24-year-old possesses really impressive pace, incredible technical ability and always plays with real drive and determination.
I have no doubts that the Turkish ace is ready to make the jump up in quality from the Super Lig to the Premier League.
