The 49ers Enterprises may have to sign off on the sacking of Daniel Farke because of their own failures at Leeds United this month.

The German has endured a poor start to the season, drawing twice in the Championship and losing 3-0 to Middlesbrough in the EFL Cup.

It isn’t all his own fault though, with Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Glen Kamara being sold, with Georginio Rutter set to join Brighton too [Florian Plettenberg].

Despite that, Leeds and the 49ers have not completed a signing since Jayden Bogle on 20 July, with no real concrete developments on incomings since.

With only 11 days to go in the transfer window, Farke has made it clear he wants four new signings through the door, so the clock is ticking [The Athletic].

Leeds United to sack Daniel Farke?
If those four new signings, at least, are not delivered by the 49ers, Farke may have no hope.

Clear replacements are needed, especially in the final third for the likes of Summerville and Rutter, but no one who comes in are likely to be anywhere near as good.

Jack Clarke has been mooted to return to Elland Road, and that is type of the marquee signing that needs to be made, but Sunderland will not make it easy [Sunday Mirror].

Paraag Marathe has already lost a lot of trust in the Leeds fan base for broken promises of player sales and clauses, and he could use the manager as a scapegoat.

That happens very frequently in football and although Farke certainly isn’t perfect, he has had his hands tied by the management above him and their transfer approach.

Sackings have already started this season across the EFL, and the German could soon find himself on that list depending on the remainder of the transfer window.
