It’s going to be a long week for the Celtic supporters as more and more former players and pundits offer their opinions on why Brendan Rodgers’ side crumbled in Dortmund.
The vast majority of supporters will just put it down to Celtic being outclassed and move on, others will look for answers from those in the game to see where the team can improve for the next fixture against Atalanta.

So now, it’s the turn of the former Celtic defender, Johan Mjallby, as he shares his thoughts on why it all went wrong in Dortmund.
Celtic need to learn to handle pressure
Mjallby told TNT Sports, “No, I don’t think they have to change the way they play, because they’ve been so successful, especially domestically at home,
“They will always be a threat against the likes of Dortmund. But in a way, I do think you need to expect that you’re going to be pressured.
“And the good teams, they are as good as Celtic, if not even better they pressurise you. So in a way, Brendan needs to get them comfortable and used to be able to play through that pressure.
“Otherwise, this can happen again and again and again. And it doesn’t matter, who you’ve got as a defender or defensive midfielder.
If you lose the ball, especially when you try to build your attack in your own third, with opponents facing your own goal and they are winning the ball, then you are bang in trouble.
“That’s just the way it is.”

The sooner Celtic put this result behind them the better as the Bhoys must focus on ending this week on a high.
The next Scottish Premiership fixture against Ross County is this Sunday lunchtime at Dingwall and nothing but a win will do for Brendan Rodgers.
The international break looms and Celtic can ill-afford to go into the two-week layoff with another negative result hanging over them.
Sitting tight at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with Aberdeen, Celtic will be hoping to extend that lead with a victory over County and hope that Jimmy Thelin’s men fail against a Hearts side desperate for points.
