Celtic are in a fantastic vein of form and Brendan Rodgers will be delighted with how the array of talent he has to choose from are performing under his stewardship.
Following a first campaign back at Parkhead where he had to navigate trials and tribulations before the Bhoys claimed a domestic double, it is fair to say everyone has upped their collective levels this time around.
Tackling the bread and butter, Celtic remain unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership as they lead Aberdeen on goal difference. Meanwhile, they have also made strides in the Champions League and are on course to land a knockout playoff berth at the least.
While Brendan Rodgers will place emphasis on the remarkable squad-wide effort his group have put in to maintain such consistency, there have been a handful of standouts who have come up trumps for the Irishman in clutch moments.
That is a topic for supporters and pundits to debate in their own time, and Simon Donnelly has followed that description by singling out a Celtic performer he has been pleasantly surprised by this term.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Donnelly admitted he has been taken aback by Nicolas Kuhn at Celtic amid his run of ten goals and 11 assists in 17 appearances this term.
He stated: “His form is unbelievable; we’re only ten, 11 games into the season. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how good he’s been.
Last season, we talked about him coming in, and then you take a wee step back yourself. We’re all guilty of it, he’s not doing it straight away kind of thing.
Later, he added: “He’s been excellent, but it’s the same as on a different level; Lennon Miller is excelling at Motherwell, so he’s got interest. Kuhn is now doing it, not only domestically, but he’s popped in with goals in the Champions League; there’s always going to be interest.”

Stereotypically, Celtic fans take to players that can put on a bit of a show, which explains why Kuhn has become such a popular presence among supporters and now even has his own song!
Following a challenging start due to illness, the 24-year-old has become a main source of creativity under Rodgers and is delivering the goods both domestically and in the Champions League, representing the type of value for money you can get on the market when you look hard enough.
Hopefully, Kuhn can continue his excellent run of form for Celtic. If he does, the Bhoys could be set for a very successful season.
