Everton took the risk to sign a struggling Iliman Ndiaye for £16.9 million in the summer transfer window, and it’s already starting to pay off.
The Senegal international has been a livewire for the Toffees with his direct approach and trickery on the ball, which has seen him bag three goals.
He’s also starting to really take notice about the surroundings at Everton, as Ndiaye loves his new song and has praised fans for all they do to push the team on.

However, it’s not all smiles with a potential new takeover, as the Friedkin Group are already looking at a review for Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell, as well as making people re-apply for their jobs.
Regardless, for those that are currently at the club, there is something exciting the lot of them.
When talking in an interview with Everton, Iliman Ndiaye has said that everyone involved at Everton is excited about the new stadium.
“Then, the new stadium that is coming, I think that excites everyone. It’s seriously impressive. The players who have been here for a long time and the players who have just arrived, I know we are all ready to give more than 100 per cent to have the best season possible and go into the new stadium in a good place.
What is going on with the new stadium?
Well, the new stadium has a moving in date of around next summer ahead of the new season.
Everton have finished laying the new pitch down and the stadium is finally looking like an almost complete one.
Fans noticed just how big the concourse is recently as even the shops have been installed at this point, which shows how close it’s getting now.
There have also been talks of potentially expanding the new stadium as soon as the Friedkin Group get their hands on it next summer.
The only thing that is guaranteed right now is that there’ll be a new manager in charge next summer.
