Leicester City look set to make some fresh additions to their squad during the 2025 winter window.
The Foxes signed nine players in the most recent transfer window but with the threat of relegation still looming, more additions are expected in January.
Leicester have been linked with a loan move for Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel recently but face competition from several more Premier League clubs.
The young forward is only available on loan but would still prove a stellar addition to Steve Cooper’s squad.
It was reported last week that Leicester have joined Atletico Madrid in the race for Ibrahim Maza.
Now, another name has been tipped to potentially make the move the the King Power Stadium in the 2025 winter transfer window.

The player in question is James McAtee, who has already been linked with a move to the Midlands in the past.
Leicester tried to sign McAtee in 2023 and even had him at Seagrave training ground just before the transfer window slammed shut.
However, no move came to pass and the player eventually completed a last-minute loan move to Sheffield United.
Now though, a fresh report from Jason Pettigrove, writing for Caught Offside, claims Leicester, along with a host of other clubs including the likes of Feyenoord, VfB Stuttgart and Girona, are monitoring the Manchester City youngster.
City, who could let McAtee leave for around £20m, are open to a January move in order to help the club meet FFP and give the midfielder a chance to play regular football.
What has Pep Guardiola said about James McAtee
Born in Salford, McAtee is a product of Manchester City’s academy and was handed his Premier League debut for the club by Pep Guardiola in August 2021 versus Everton.
The 22-year-old has made a total of 13 senior appearances for the Sky Blues, including six in the 2024/25 campaign.
McAtee is struggling to hold down a regular starting berth this season but Guardiola is still a big fan and has previously spoken about how he and everyone at City ‘adores’ the player, as per the Independent.
He said: “Everyone adores him. You saw the reaction of the players, so everyone loves him.
“With teams who play so deep he has the quality to find it. He scored and had a few more chances.
“Of course he will not be a regular player but in a lot of games he will help us and when he plays like he did today I can always count on him.
