He told the Go Radio Football Show when asked if there is a better player in Scotland: “His numbers tell you not Paul because he’s been outstanding.
I said in pre-season he was looking magnificent. You thought, well, but can he continue that form, he’s more than done that.
What is it, 11 goals and 11 assists? It’s quite incredible actually and that’s what you want from your wide players. You’ve got centre-forwards, you’ve got Kyogo scoring and then you’ve got Adam Idah coming on and scoring, it’s so important.
“You’ve got the middle of the pitch, you’ve got such a mix in there. Luke McCowan, he’s done nothing wrong but now he’s not even getting any minutes because of the quality being shown on the pitch.”

His ability to drift into dangerous areas and routinely deliver an end product to match is unparalleled in the Scottish game, but the Champions League is a different ball game entirely.
