Celtic recorded a 1-1 draw against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Brendan Rodgers’ side had a spring in their step going into the match because of how they had been performing in the Premiership and recent European matches.
But, by the half-time break, fans were wondering what type of Celtic side had just turned up because they were a shadow of themselves, added to the fact of being 1-0 down.
Cameron Carter-Vickers’ own goal will be replayed again and again for the wrong reasons and he wouldn’t want to look back on that anytime soon.
The second half from the Bhoys was far better and Carter-Vickers has Daizen Maeda to thank for his stunning goal because that may well be a point gained from the Glasgow giants.
But Mark Wilson feels that Carter-Vickers wasn’t the only one enduring a ‘nightmare’ evening in front of his fans.

Celtic put four goals past Hearts at the weekend and Rodgers named the same XI that started that game at Tynecastle.
Hatate was getting rave reviews for his performances, but it was the opposite for the Brugge game.
Wilson highlighted a moment towards the end when the Japan star made a meal of things in a game to forget for the previously reliable technician, as he told Sky Sports News (27/11/24 at 9:45 pm).
“They are trying their best (to find that winner),” said Wilson. “A little late flurry there of corner kicks and the second one, a well-worked corner kick all the way driven to the back post and it falls to Reo Hatate.
“He is a brilliant technical player, but he has just had a nightmare tonight. He has ended up volleying back to the corner kick-ataker.

Those critics who don’t like how the game has gone in the modern-day, in regards to playing out from the back, will be screaming from the rooftops again.
But you know one man who will back his team to the hill and back, and that’s Rodgers.
The Celtic boss will make sure this doesn’t affect Carter-Vickers because, as Wilson touched upon, you simply won’t see anything like this again.
“You will never see an own goal like this again in your life, especially at this level,” expressed a shocked Wilson on Sky Sports.
“We are all for teams playing out and Celtic try to play out. Nicolas Kuhn at the edge of his own box goes back to Carter-Vickers.
“Now, he just on the penalty spot and he turns to play it to Schmeichel, but Schmeichel has moved to the right-hand side of his six-yard box and plays it blind. And it goes back into the net. An absolute calamitous start and a calamitous goal.
