The sun is shining over Celtic as the festive winter period kicks in.
You can’t have too many complaints about what Brendan Rodgers is producing this season because there has been little to complain about.
Celtic are flying in the Premiership, they are going strong in the Champions League and they have a League Cup final to look forward to.
The same can’t be said for Rangers because, even when they are winning, as they did via an own goal against St Johnstone at the weekend, it’s miserable and sleep-walking football that is on show.
Many have questioned Philippe Clement’s job, but it seems as though he will be in charge for the Hampden final against Celtic on December 15.
As that match edges ever closer, Gordon Dalziel expressed his annoyance at some of the actions from the Rangers media team that he stated simply ‘doesn’t happen at Celtic Park’.

It seems as though Rangers haven’t scored from a set play this season and fans are questioning why.
Dalziel shared that the Rangers media team have been ‘putting out stats’ like that one in recent weeks and he told Open Goal that it shows a lack of leadership from the manager because he simply shouldn’t allow it to happen.
He shared that Celtic wouldn’t do that against Rodgers and the champions wouldn’t do such a thing if they were in that embarrassing situation.
“Do you think he (Clement) has got full control of the club,” asked Dalziel. “I will tell you the reason I am going to say this.
“See if you are a Rangers manager and you have got the Rangers media putting out stats like ‘we haven’t scored a goal from a set-play this season’.
“I am sorry, that doesn’t happen at Celtic Park. They will never do that against Brendan Rodgers. See if you are a strong leader and a strong manager, you pull them into your office and say, ‘listen, that doesn’t go out’. Your own club doesn’t put that out. I am sorry, you don’t do that.
Celtic looking to pull further away from Aberdeen and Rangers
Rodgers is dominating Scottish football again and another title is on the cards, it’s just a case of how it will happen, in regards to possibly going unbeaten.
Celtic thrashed Ross County at the weekend and they are four points clear of second-placed Aberdeen with a game in hand, including 11 points clear of Rangers.
But now is the chance to pull further away and make things even more embarrassing for those struggling to challenge.
Celtic take on Aberdeen on Wednesday night and could be seven clear and more – with a game in hand – by the time it’s Christmas.
That would be dreamland for the champions, especially with Celtic’s clash against Rangers at Ibrox also on the horizon.
