Celtic continue to march forward on the domestic scene.
Brendan Rodgers has dominated Scottish football before and the returning Celtic boss threatens to do so again.
Last season, the Bhoys weren’t at their free-flowing best, but Rodgers still won the double, including a memorable Scottish Cup final win over Rangers.
Fast forward to the present and the lead at the top of the Premiership table is nine points to second-placed Aberdeen and a further 14 to third-placed Rangers ahead of their away clash at Ross County on Sunday.
All of this is thanks to another dominant week, with Celtic putting five goals past Ross County last week, seeing off Aberdeen at Pittodrie in midweek and then beating Hibernian on Saturday afternoon.
To the neutral, well before all of this, many would think that the title race in Scotland is going one way and one way only.
But, at the start of December, Rangers boss Philippe Clement, told BBC Sport that ‘nothing is decided in December’ regarding the title.
It’s fair to say that a certain Roy Keane disagrees.

Clement hasn’t even eaten his Christmas pudding yet and Keane is already declaring Celtic as title winners.
And this was days before the win over Hibernian.
Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Ian Wright and Keane himself decided to do a watch along on the Overlap for the midweek Premier League matches – with Manchester United losing at Arsenal.
And as the games were finishing, Keane was told about the result at Pittodrie and Celtic beating Aberdeen, with his response pretty simple.
Celtic have beaten Aberdeen, Roy,” said Neville to which Keane responded, “What was the score?”. And he is told 1-0.
Keane then added: “That’s it, that’s the league over, isn’t it,” with Jamie Carragher agreeing.
Celtic and Rangers gap analysed
You are asking Celtic to lose, at least, three Premiership matches, when after 15 games they have only dropped points once.
Not only that, the rest of the pack, including Aberdeen, need to keep churning out victories, despite Rangers dropping points in five games already this season and Aberdeen now starting to falter – they haven’t won since the start of November.
Even Rangers pundits are fearing Celtic’s squad and that is one of many huge differences here, with some big games coming up from now until the New Year.
Celtic’s final European game of 2024 takes place on Tuesday night in Croatia against Dinamo Zagreb – before that all-important League Cup final against Rangers and then it’s Premiership matches galore.
