Celtic’s League Cup final win over Rangers continues to be a talking point.
The Scottish Premiership doesn’t get the coverage worldwide like the English Premier League or any other top European leagues.
But any Celtic Glasgow derby showdown against Rangers that goes down is streamed from the North American continent to the other side of the world because it is the biggest rivalry in the world.
Then you add that Celtic beat Rangers on penalties on Sunday after an exhausting and drama-filled 3-3 draw over 120 minutes.
That’s just going to add to the drama because it is a final that will live long in the memory, but not if you are a Rangers fan, then again, it probably will because listening or watching post-match reaction, you think that Philippe Clement’s side won the game!
Nonetheless, the tears can be heard far and wide long after Daizen Maeda’s winning penalty, including how Celtic fans can expect some form of ‘SFA statement’.

See the common theme here? This is pure domination from Celtic, including Rodgers only losing one in 20 against Rangers.
But, according to Mark Guidi, there will be a statement released by the Scottish Football Association (SFA) ‘in the next 24-48 hours’ after VAR opted against awarding a penalty to Vaclav Cerny, as he told Go Radio
Willie Collum, who is the head of the referees for the SFA, I think there will be some form of statement from the SFA in the next 24-48 hours stating that they got it wrong,” claimed Guidi.
“That the VAR official Alan Muir got it wrong to not flag that up to the match referee, John Beaton.

Either way, Barry Ferguson wants Patrick Stewart to ‘demand some answers from the SFA’ regarding VAR not awarding a penalty, as he added on Go Radio.
“It’s 100% a penalty and I am sure, Patrick Stewart, the new chief executive starting (Monday), I am sure he will demand some answers from the SFA, in terms of the comments from VAR,” cried Ferguson after Guidi’s revelation
Yes, Barry, let’s not try to address Celtic’s enormous gap over Rangers, but instead in typical style, moan and cry to the officials about VAR!
Remember, it’s so easy for Celtic now that Rangers played their greatest game and still lost.
