Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph posted an update on the Carter-Vickers rumour and stated how the Celtic defender is feeling at Celtic amid rumours about the Bundesliga club’s interest.
Joseph said on X, “Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Celtic centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers. Sky Sports News understands CCV is very happy and settled in Scotland.
“He is also contracted until 2029, which puts Celtic in a strong position if any bids come in for him.

Brendan Rodgers addressed those rumours about Celtic hero, Carter-Vickers, last week and it seems the Hoops boss is very relaxed about his star defender.
This isn’t the first time there has been interest reported in Carter-Vickers, of course. The Celtic defender was of interest to Galatasaray, Atalanta and Besiktas approached the Bhoys earlier this season to enquire about him.
A host of Premier League clubs have also shared an interest in Carter-Vickers with Ipswich and West Ham also named as potential suitors.
But it seems Celtic fans need not worry. Carter-Vickers’ career was in journeyman mode before Celtic plucked him from Tottenham Hotspur three seasons ago.
With seven major honours to his name and one of the best-paid players at the club, it is little wonder Carter-Vickers is happy at Celtic.
