Celtic returned to winning ways on Sunday after the Ibrox horror show from midweek.
Brendan Rodgers made several changes to his XI, as Celtic beat St Mirren 3-0 and moved 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership table.
After Philippe Clement’s side were like a kid given too much fizzy drink on Thursday evening, Rangers were brought back down to earth after drawing 3-3 at Hibernian just hours earlier.
That opened the door for the Bhoys to resume service, winning again, alongside keeping a clean sheet and edging ever closer to confirming another title.
Nicolas Kuhn opened the scoring, before Auston Trusty, who returned to the XI, added to the scoresheet just before half-time.
Just after the hour mark, Kuhn continued his outstanding start to the campaign by adding his second and helping seal the points for Celtic.

What a season Kuhn is having. From being questioned last season to now probably being the first name on the teamsheet.
It’s great to see the German having such a great time and Pat Bonner is loving what he is seeing from the all-action winger.
The legendary goalkeeper stated that Kuhn put in a ‘very good’ performance and he loves the positions he takes as a wide player, as told BBC Radio Scotland.
“They struggled at times to penetrate,” said Bonner after Celtic went 2-0 up. “But when they did penetrate that ball from Maeda just across to that man Kuhn again. Getting into that great position for a winger. Great inside the box and then just showing the ability to finish beyond Hemming in the St Mirren goal. What a return he has had.
After Kuhn’s second goal: “You see the pace that he has there,” added Bonner.
“For a winger, he doesn’t always play wide and hugs the line. He gets himself into great positions. He knows exactly what he is doing and what he has to contribute to this team and he is doing it brilliantly – Very good performance.
Kuhn’s stats for Celtic this season
There is still half a season to go – and that’s including the knockout stages of the Champions League – and you might as well give Kuhn the Player of the Year award.
You just can’t see any other Celtic player surpassing him unless someone turns into Superman and the January capture himself falls off a cliff.
That brace against St Mirren means that Kuhn now has 16 goals in all competitions this term and you can see him hitting 30+ given the way he is going.
