Ange Postecoglou enjoyed tremendous success at Celtic with Joe Hart as his goalkeeper at a time when the club probably had no business winning as much silverware as it did.
Celtic had just lost the league to Rangers, their captain Scott Brown, CEO Peter Lawwell and a raft of first-team players before Postecoglou joined the Bhoys in 2021.
In two seasons at Celtic, the Australian won five trophies out of six which included the record-breaking eighth domestic treble before Postecoglou left Paradise to join Tottenham Hotspur.
A huge part of the reason why Ange enjoyed success at Celtic was down to the signing of Joe Hart. The former England international’s career looked all but over but Postecoglou had him convinced that he still had plenty to offer and give to Celtic before he packed away his gloves.
And didn’t he just.

Before Spurs took on Newcastle yesterday, Postecoglou was interviewed pitch-side by Hart who was on TNT Sports commentary duty.
After being told how much Hart loved playing under the former Celtic boss, Postecoglou was gushing in his praise of the former Hoops hero.
Postecoglou told TNT Sports, “Outstanding goalkeeper, great human being but above all a great person.
“Privileged to share a dressing room with him and it’s the kind of things that you latch on to in your career.
He was one of the best, for sure.

As previously said, Celtic won five trophies out of six in Postecoglou’s time as the Hoops boss with Hart adding another two to his collection after the Australian left.
Hart added another Scottish Premiership title and his first Scottish Cup winners medal to his collection under Brendan Rodgers last season.
But both enjoyed a fruitful hold over Rangers as the former Celtic duo dominated the Glasgow Derby in their time at the club.
The biggest win both Celtic heroes enjoyed over Rangers was the 4-0 thrashing at Celtic Park back in March 2022.
Both were universally loved by Celtic supporters during their time at the club and it’s great to see that there is still a strong bond long after they have left Paradise.
