Andy Halliday and Brendan Rodgers shared a laugh after Celtic skelped Motherwell 4-0 on Boxing Day.
The former Rangers and Hearts midfielder was on the receiving end of a Celtic hammering at Parkhead on an afternoon where the Hoops completely dominated.
Daizen Maeda was terrific that day and the Japanese winger has been praised by Halliday before.
Halliday came off the bench in the game but could not prevent Celts who were firing on all cylinders and the game ended with little more than a cameo from the 33-year-old.
After the full-time whistle, pictures emerged of the player and Celtic’s manager engaged in a light-hearted exchange on the pitch.

The pair smiled as Rodgers spoke to Halliday and now the pundit on both Open Goal and Clyde Superscoreboard has detailed exactly what was said to prompt the chuckle.
Asked what Rodgers had commented to him, Halliday answered: “Do you know what he actually said?
“He said ‘I enjoy listening to you on the radio’.
He didn’t say Open Goal, he said, ‘I enjoy listening to you on the radio’.
“I said I was choking for you to lose so I can cane you, then it was just a wee laugh.

Host and ex-Celtic kid Si Ferry then brought up that Rodgers had delivered a cheeky slap to his face during the conversation.
And Halliday, again, offered his own take.
He smirked: “It was progressively getting harder. I’m 33 years old, you don’t need to tap me on the face!”
Rodgers would likely have also been hoping to aim a sly jibe at Halliday following the ex-Ibrox man’s comments regarding the league title race in the Scottish Premiership.
Despite Celtic’s uncharacteristic underperformance against Rangers, they still remain a whopping 13 points ahead of their rivals in the division.
And Halliday recently admitted – accepted, really – that the Premiership trophy is already on its way to Celtic Park with the lead now an unassailable one.
