“If Arsenal want to let him go on loan, I think they have enough cover. I watched their game the other night. Zinchenko come on. They have plenty of cover in the fullback areas.
“There is none (advantage) of Arteta keeping him. There really isn’t. I think Kieran will want to come up now and get playing possibly in the Champions League. He is eligible to play for Celtic in the Champions League. It should be exciting for him. He should get a knockout game, at least. He will be pushing it. His agent will be pushing it. Maybe financially it doesn’t make sense for Kieran to walk away for a lot of money until the end of the season.
