The Celtic first-team has lost five players in January whilst Rodgers has brought two players to Celtic Park.

West Ham face stiff competition to sign Celtic starlet Daniel Cummings
West Ham tried to sign Celtic kid Cummings on transfer deadline day but the Bhoys booted out two late bids from the Premier League club.
It seems that Cummings has agreed on a deal with The Hammers but 67 Hail Hail understands that nothing has been signed yet.
We also understand that West Ham faces competition from clubs in England and France in the race for the young forward’s signature as Cummings’ performances in the UEFA Youth League have set the heather on fire this season.
Newcastle, Brentford, Fulham and Brighton are all thought to be chasing the Celtic Academy talent whose contract expires at the end of the season.
What Brendan Rodgers has said about Daniel Cummings’ Celtic future
Brendan Rodgers has been vocal recently about the future of Cummings and his links to West Ham.
The Celtic manager said after the Motherwell win, “All the young players at Celtic have the best example you could ever have in Callum McGregor and of the other players.
“You have to be patient, you are at a Champions League and a massive club. So, patience is going to be important. If you don’t have that, then it’s going to take you elsewhere. People will look at the club. The pathway.
“The pathway is here for any top young player. It’s whether you have the patience enough and the demands professionally to cope with being here, if not, then your representatives may take the chance to move you on and pick up a few extra quid somewhere else.
“But maybe not make the career that the likes of Callum McGregor has had. I don’t get frustrated. I have seen it over many, many years. Many, many times, especially here at Celtic. Young players have left here and gone on. And I look now, four and five years later, and they are playing at a different level.
