Celtic could make some changes for their Scottish Cup clash with Raith Rovers this evening.

Brendan Rodgers‘ side welcomes Scottish Championship opposition to Glasgow in the fifth round after dispatching of Kilmarnock in round four.

It comes before the Champions League tie vs Bayern Munich and that could see Rodgers tinkering with his starting XI to have his squad ready for the massive Euro fixture.

Rodgers has rotated his squad plenty over the course of the season already and it is likely he will do so again when Barry Robson’s troops arrive to compete.

67 Hail Hail has made an attempt at predicting Rodgers’ XI but it is never an easy task.

Celtic predicted XI vs Raith Rovers
Kasper Schmeichel is unavailable to play so Viljami Sinisalo’s debut will finally come, as Rodgers confirmed himself this weekend.

Anthony Ralston may start with Auston Trusty and Liam Scales to ensure Cameron Carter-Vickers is rested for Bayern.

Greg Taylor, we suspect, might be benched to hand a first start to new signing Jeffrey Schlupp who arrived on deadline day.

Callum McGregor will probably be given a start regardless as is often the case but his midfield partners will be telling as to who might feature from the kick-off on Wednesday.

We predict it will be Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo vs Rovers.

Celtic’s XI will be telling for Bayern Munich clash

Nicolas Kuhn might come back in after being benched for Dundee while Yang could be given a crack to boost his confidence despite Jota and Daizen Maeda both ahead of him in the pecking order.

Up top will likely be Adam Idah although we’d be shocked if he got longer than an hour with Johnny Kenny perhaps replacing him to keep the Irishman fit and available for the Bayern test.

Of course, we have been wrong before when making our predictions but with such a massive fixture coming, it makes sense for Rodgers to tweak his personnel.

Celtic predicted XI: SINISALO, RALSTON, TRUSTY, SCALES, SCHLUPP, MCGREGOR, MCCOWAN, BERNARDO, KUHN, YANG, IDAH.
