Cameron Carter-Vickers will be available for Celtic’s UEFA Champions League play-off first leg against Bayern Munich.
The towering USA defender was completely absent from the Scottish Cup thrashing of Raith Rovers on Saturday, leading to suggestions that the player could be nursing an injury.
However, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has moved to clear up any worries by confirming that his first choice centre-back is fit and will feature when the Bundesliga leaders arrive at Parkhead on Wednesday night.
“Yeah, he’s fit and available,” he said. “We gave a few of the boys a bit of a rest at the weekend. So, he’s fine.”
