Celtic earned a historic draw against Bayern Munich as they exited the Champions League this season.

Nicolas Kuhn almost secured a win in the Allianz Arena as Celtic led Bayern before Alphonso Davies broke the Hoops’ hearts with a two-yard tap in right at the stroke of full time.

In a game where Bayern dominated, but Celtic were comfortable, Brendan Rodgers must have thought Champions League history was about to be made.

However, pundit Nieve Petruziello of popular football YouTube account StuntPegg was not having what she heard about Celtic’s performance in the Allianz as she put right just how well the Hoops controlled the game.

Pundit says Celtic controlled Bayern Munich in Champions League clash
Petruziello told The Official Champions League Podcast [9m], “You see, this is where I sort of disagree in terms of with the Celtic game.

“I actually think, yeah, Bayern have more of the ball, for example, and they were, especially towards the end of the game, they kept just pinning Celtic back.

“But I think actually that first half, I think, okay, you might see and look and think Bayern are the dominant team here.

“But which team do I think, for the majority of that game, did what they wanted to do and the game went as they wanted it to go? You would say Celtic, in my opinion.
