It’s that time of year again for Celtic, where Rangers get giddy, but normal service still resumes down the line.
Nobody of a Celtic persuasion is going to argue that Brendan Rodgers’ side didn’t deserve to lose to Rangers on Sunday.
For the second Glasgow derby running, Celtic just weren’t at the races and it was another questionable display from the champions-elect.
Even though the Hoops are well clear at the top of the Premiership table, it still puts serious pressure on the Celtic manager to get this right when the two teams meet again at Ibrox after the split.
But, as Barry Ferguson has won a few games now, there is talk amongst those in Rangers colours that, perhaps, he should be handed the job full-time.
But Chris Sutton wanted to bring Ferguson back down to earth, as he dropped the reality of where Celtic and Rangers are at.

There is talk of the San Francisco 49ers taking over Rangers and bringing some much-needed investment to the Ibrox club.
But Sutton told Ferguson that, if that happens, then they wouldn’t want to appoint Ferguson as the next Rangers manager because it would be ‘too big of a risk’.
The former striker added that, ‘the truth’ of the matter is, Celtic have dominated in Scotland for a long while now and Rangers have only won three trophies out of 42, as he told the Monday Night Club.
“I think it would be ridiculous (to give Barry Ferguson the Rangers job),” said Sutton. “When you take about the takeover, the 49ers takeover and the investment which they are going to put into Rangers.
“We are judging Barry Ferguson over a very short period of games. Would you think that, with the investment going into the club, that they would risk a rookie going into next season, it doesn’t add up to me.
“But this is about Rangers making the next step and really putting a challenge in, because over the last decade, the truth is, you just look at the trophy count. I think is it three in 42? That’s nowhere near good enough for a club of Rangers’ size.
“They should be competing far better with Celtic, hence why Barry Ferguson still will be far too much of a risk.
“I have made my point pretty clear. I wouldn’t like to advise Rangers on a sensible move, at all. But if this investment comes in, they have to go with someone with a track record – I think it’s too big of a risk, Barry Ferguson.

You can go further back and count the numerous trophies the likes of Ronny Deila and Neil Lennon picked up.
But even from Rodgers’ first spell at Celtic Park in 2016, it has been nothing but trophy after trophy for Scotland’s most successful club.
From Trebles to late winners in the Scottish Cup, it has been nothing but pure memories from those in green and white.
