West Ham travel to the Etihad to take on Manchester City in the Premier League finale on Sunday, whilst Arsenal play host to Everton.
The Gunners need the Hammers to either draw or win against Man City, and then get all three points themselves against the Toffees.
West Ham are being written off already, and there surely isn’t one person out there who genuinely fancies us to beat Pep Guardiola’s side, or draw against them for that matter.
David Moyes will take charge of his last game this weekend, with Julen Lopetegui already said to be planning for our future alongside director of football Tim Steidten.
So can Moyes go out with a bang and delight the Arsenal fans in the process? Don’t count on it…

Jarred Gillett will be on VAR duty for the game at the Etihad on Sunday, as confirmed via the Premier League’s official website.
Now, the West Ham fans will be very familiar indeed with the 37-year-old Australian referee, and not for good reasons.
Back in September 2022, we lost 2-1 away at Chelsea, after having a last minute equaliser from Maxwel Cornet pathetically ruled out by VAR. Any guesses for who was on VAR duty that day? You’ve got it…it was Gillett.
What an absolute joke of a decision it was, and it ended up costing us what would have been a valuable point at the time.

Gillett was also in charge during our 1-1 draw with Aston Villa back in March.
Moyes erupted at the Australian after the game, following the decision to rule out Tomas Soucek’s 95th minute strike.
I have watched him numerous times this season, and he has proven to be totally incapable, whether he’s refereed a match or been on VAR duty.
The Arsenal fans will be all too aware of Gillett’s limitations as well. He ruled out Kai Havertz’s last minute equaliser away at Aston Villa back in December, despite not having a clear view of the incident.
Arsenal need West Ham to do them a favour against Manchester City on Sunday. And if that is to happen, the last thing they will want to see is Jarred Gillett on VAR duty.
