John Wenham has called for Daniel Levy to accept cut-price deals at Tottenham to force unwanted players out of the club.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes as many as 15 players could leave the club this summer.

It comes after Fabrizio Romano revealed via Instagram (18 May) that more than five or six players will be sold with Ange Postecoglou keen to make several changes to his squad.

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested that Levy must do whatever it takes to move players on.

“I think we could see somewhere between 12 and 15 players leaving the club,” Wenham said.

“Tottenham need to ramp up the outgoings so we’re not in a situation on the last day of the window where several players are leaving on loan.Levy needs to accept cut-price deals and do whatever it takes to get unwanted players out the door.

”Daniel Levy and Ange Postecoglou set for a busy summer with Tottenham Levy and Postecoglou better cancel any holiday plans they had this summer.

While there might not be any football to think about, there is plenty to be getting on with off the pitch.

It has become apparent in recent weeks that the Tottenham squad requires some major work.

Levy often likes to get as much money as possible for each player, but with the number of players that need to be sold this summer, the Spurs chairman doesn’t have time for any drawn-out negotiations.

Decisions need to be made and made quickly as Postecoglou prepares for his second season in charge at Tottenham.
