A great second half performance that could have had us higher up the table.

Had enough chances to win it and managed to hit the post twice but they had chances too…So it’s from Germany to mackemland and hopefully a game to remember… for all the right reasons!’Jamie Smith: ‘I think we’d have taken that draw but the mentality issue is becoming extremely frustrating, as the team looks like an utter mess when defending a lead. Having said that, drawing away to Leverkusen isn’t a bad result and we were on the wrong side of those fine margins we keep talking about, Gordon and Murphy both hitting the inside of the post with zingers. Why couldn’t the ball have bounced into the net instead of away from goal?
After a bad start, I thought we showed resilience to get ahead after trailing at the interval.
Tony Gordon knows how to take a penalty that’s for sure and it was a great assist from the Adidas hairbanded one for Miley’s excellent header. So pleased for young Lewis.
PSV is a must win but it always was. Would love to go to Paris and beat those shysters. We will go to the SoL and beat them.’

I felt they were there for the taking at 1-2 but again we seemed to sit back and defend.
Our midfield three might be the best in the EPL but tonight they were individually awful. How strange.

So it’s another game we can’t see out. Maybe Elanga and Wissa on with ten mins left would have made a difference when the game got stretched. Bringing them on with a couple of minutes left made no difference at all.

Hugely positive to see Miley playing like this at just 19 and Gordon has found his stride too.

So so so disappointing to drop points late yet again. We dropped six places too as a consequence.
At 2-1 we were sitting pretty in 6th but now we’re back in the play-off spots.It’s a good draw on paper but having lead until the final couple of minutes it’s a rough one.
We struggled against a stubborn and well organised defence in the first half but played excellently in the second.
Gordon looked electric at times and has become a top penalty taker.
