The Hammers made a poor start to the game and found themselves two goals down inside the first 18 minutes due to a Phil Foden brace. Mohammed Kudus got a goal back for David Moyes’ side in the 42nd minute as West Ham went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
