Sources close to Mohammed Kudus have refused to disclose the West Ham star’s release clause ahead of the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic.

The 23-year-old does have a buyout clause in his current contract at the London Stadium, yet those close to him have refused to reveal exactly how much it is.

It is understood that West Ham teammate Lucas Paqueta has a release clause worth £85million, which is set to become active next month when the transfer window opens, with Manchester City expected to target him.

Could Mohammed Kudus leave West Ham United this summer? Considering Paqueta’s links away from the London Stadium, with Man City extremely interested in the creative midfielder, the Hammers are unlikely to want both stars to leave.

The Irons are set for a summer of change as Julen Lopetegui replaces David Moyes, and losing both Paqueta and Kudus could be detrimental, while Jarrod Bowen has also been linked with a move away.

However, seeing that the Ghanaian only arrived at the London Stadium from Ajax last summer, it is difficult to see him leaving just one year later after a successful first season in England.

With 14 goals and six assists in 45 appearances in all competitions, Kudus is already one of the most exciting attackers in the Premier League, showing exactly what he is capable of against Man City on the final day of the season.

His overhead bicycle kick is just an example of the skill and talent the 23-year-old possesses, showing exactly why the Hammers must keep hold of him this summer.
