The Hungarian has impressed in Slovakia’s top division this term with seven goals in 14 appearances, while laying on one assist. Redzic is known for his long shots and high pressing capabilities, two attributes that could see him succeed in Rohl’s system. The 22-year-old is also capable of playing as a right winger or striker, and that versatility appeals to any manager.

What Redzic interest could mean for Gassama

Rohl’s interest in signing a new right winger is bad news for Gassama, who has predominantly been used in that position this term.

Gassama has been inconsistent for Rangers since joining from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer, including against Aberdeen last time out, and the 22-year-old could be replaced. Skov Olsen and Redzic both operate on the right flank, while Mundle can also play there, and links to those three players suggest he could soon drop to the bench. Ultimately, Gassama need to improve his final ball to warrant keeping his place in the side, otherwise, the youngster will be fighting for his place.
