So just like with the Buonanotte move, a lot of it will be down to the player’s willingness to get the deal done. Even though it will be likely that the final transfer fee is very close to the £40 million Wolves demanded.

A few years ago, the Whites struggled when they signed a bunch of players who all decided to leave the club as soon as they were relegated in 2023.
