Leeds United Plot Shock Raid on Wolves and Villa as Major Transfer Twist Ignites Move for ‘Elite Talent’ Duo – Fans Urged to Watch This Space!

Leeds United Eye Wolves and Villa Duo in Bid to Solve Left-Back Crisis After Key Summer Shake-Up

Leeds United are reportedly eyeing a double swoop for left-backs from Wolves and Aston Villa as they look to reinforce their squad ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Fresh off winning the Championship title with a dominant 100-point season, Daniel Farke’s men are wasting no time addressing priority areas. The exit of Junior Firpo — who is expected to rejoin Real Betis — has left a gap at left-back, prompting Leeds to turn their attention to two experienced yet underutilised Premier League players.

**Hugo Bueno on Leeds’ Radar**
According to the *Express*, Wolves’ Spanish U21 international Hugo Bueno is firmly in Leeds United’s sights. Bueno spent last season on loan at Feyenoord, where he impressed with 30 appearances across all competitions, including nine in the Champions League. Despite his development and over 50 appearances for Wolves since graduating from their academy, he has yet to secure a consistent first-team role at Molineux. With Rayan Aït-Nouri now sold, Bueno could have a chance to stake his claim — unless Wolves decide to cash in, with Leeds ready to test their resolve.

**Alex Moreno a Loan or Bargain Buy Option**
In addition to Bueno, Leeds are reportedly interested in Aston Villa’s Alex Moreno. The experienced Spanish full-back was loaned to Nottingham Forest last season but made only 15 league appearances, suggesting he’s surplus to requirements at Villa Park. With Lucas Digne and Ian Maatsen ahead of him in Unai Emery’s pecking order, and just a year left on his contract, Villa may be open to selling him permanently — particularly as they look to stay within the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.

Leeds are likely to consider both a loan or cut-price move for Moreno, who could bring valuable experience to a newly promoted side aiming to defy the odds and avoid relegation in their first season back in the top flight.

Farke and the recruitment team know the stakes are high. With both Wolves and Villa open to negotiation depending on their summer business, Leeds could move quickly to solve one of their biggest squad concerns before pre-season kicks off.
