It’s loud and clear to see just how utterly dominant Celtic are in Scotland.
From Neil Lennon’s first spell to Brendan Rodgers’ second spell in Glasgow, those at Parkhead can’t be stopped and more misery is to come for those at Rangers.
Celtic are on course for a Treble, with the League Cup in hand, a 16-point lead at the top of the Premiership table and clear favourites to defend the Scottish Cup.
Whatever Rangers try, they can’t stop Celtic’s dominance, manager after manager has stood in the Ibrox dugout, with Philippe Clement sacked last month and now Barry Ferguson adding his entertainment skills to the circus.
That’s why there is talk of new owners coming in at Rangers, with suggestions that the San Francisco 49ers could come in to try and lift the club.
This was discussed by Celtic-mad Alan Brazil on talkSPORT, as he dropped what he has ‘heard’ about possible investment at Parkhead.
Possible Red Bull investment at Celtic as San Francisco 49ers look to buy Rangers
Dermot Desmond is the majority shareholder at Celtic and has done a sterling job behind the scenes, as the success on the pitch proves.
But Brazil claimed, amid talk of the 49ers, who also own Leeds United, coming in at Rangers, that Red Bull could put something into Celtic, as he told talkSPORT.
“The big news, of course, Rangers, if that goes through, that will be interesting, with the San Francisco 49ers putting money in,” said Brazil.
“They are part of Leeds as well. I was told this a few weeks ago, but I was told it was advanced talks. I thought, interesting.
“I also heard Celtic and Red Bull were interested in taking a piece of Celtic. But I don’t know if that is true or not. You get so many things sent to you, don’t you?
Which football teams do Red Bull own or have an investment in?
The Red Bull brand is known around the world now and it has a string of investments in football clubs, including Jurgen Klopp being ‘Head of Global Soccer’.
The legendary manager departed Liverpool in the summer and then proceeded to take on that role in 2025, although it drew controversy because Red Bull aren’t exactly well-liked in Germany.
It’s not that Celtic need the investment because everywhere you look it’s as healthy as it has ever been and the fans wouldn’t want that to change.
From Celtic’s progress in the Champions League to outstanding recruitment, it’s all playing its part in the club continuing to go from strength to strength.
