The Celtic manager needed to need up his options in the January window and decided that bringing in the Ghanaian international for a temporary spell would help take the pressure off Greg Taylor.
Jeffrey Schlupp signed with Celtic until the end of the season and has, so far, been proven to be a great piece of business by Rodgers.

With nine appearances under his belt in all competitions, barring the League Cup, the 32-year-old defender has, so far, been a standout for Celtic.

And finally, James McFadden is convinced that Schlupp should become a Bhoy after watching his performances for Celtic against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Available for free at the end of the season, could further guaranteed European football be enough to convince the 32-year-old defender to hang around Paradise for another year or so?
