That’s what will be on Brendan Rodgers’ to-do list in May, as fans would prefer the Celtic manager to sign a new contract.
Rodgers has made it clear that he won’t be repeating that infamous Leicester City moment from 2019, and he will see out his contract that expires during the summer of 2026.
It’s just a case of whether Rodgers extends his stay at Celtic and helps Scotland’s most successful club become more dominant on home soil.

The Scotland international has since gone on to make a name for himself in the English Premier League, as journalist Mark Guidi has shared on Go Radio that Rodgers is still ‘scarred’ by that summer transfer window, from his first spell, amid talk about his future.
The Scottish journalist added that, if the Northern Irishman stays, then it’s going to be ‘between Rodgers and Desmond’, as he wants backing in the transfer market after the issues from his first spell involving McGinn.
The good thing for Celtic is that they are in the driving seat,” said Guidi. “They have got him in the building every day.
“He has got a year to go. I am sure there have been early talks. It will just be between Brendan Rodgers and Dermot Desmond. If it’s going to get done, then it’s between them.
“I have said on this programme before. I am positive there is a willingness from Brendan Rodgers to stay. He wants Dermot Desmond to give him the news he wants to hear that will make him sign a contract.
“Go back to him. It will still be in the back of his mind. He will still be slightly scarred from what happened last summer at Celtic, the first time around, when they didn’t get two or three players they wanted, like John McGinn. He will have that in the back of his mind. Will you fully support him? That’s why it will be a conversation with Dermot Desmond.”
Previously ‘stressful’ Rodgers backed to stay at Celtic
It will be the best signing Celtic make if Rodgers stays put, because he has won the title in all four of his seasons, and you seriously back him to make it five next term.
No-one is getting anywhere near Celtic, and with another Treble on the horizon, it’s further proof of the utter dominance being created by Scotland’s biggest club.
Guidi feels, amid all the noise around the man in the Celtic Park dugout, he thinks that it will eventually lead to him staying put and signing a new deal.
“I think Brendan Rodgers will stay beyond this time next year,” added Guidi.
“A couple of years extension, and I think Celtic want to do business. He wants to kick on and I believe it when he says, ‘this is the happiest I have ever been’, because I think last year was very, very stressful. I think he will stay.
