NafisaKyogo Furuhashi will always be regarded as an iconic figure at Celtic.
The Japanese striker came to Parkhead during one of the most turbulent times in Celtic’s recent history and delivered the goods.
With over 80 Celtic goals, Kyogo put Celtic back on top after helping to win the Scottish Premiership and single-handedly taking care of Hibs in the 2021 League Cup final.
Those two trophies spurred another Celtic treble the following season and after winning another double under Brendan Rodgers, Kyogo was sold in the January window in a £10m deal to Rennes.
However, the 30-year-old has found himself sitting on the sidelines as his big move turned sour but it seems that there could be a summer way out for the Celtic hero.

According to La Parisien, Bournemouth are keeping tabs on Kyogo this summer.
The report suggests that the Premier League club are looking to spend a chunk of the cash they received for selling Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid.
And it appears that Bournemouth ‘have positioned themselves’ to end Kyogo’s Rennes nightmare with a possible summer transfer move.
If this happens, Kyogo will join up with fellow Celtic-treble winner Ryan Christie who is flourishing on England’s south coast.

Kyogo should never have left Celtic. That’s pretty clear now.
Whilst many will understand that he did so to reinvent his international career, Kyogo has traded in silverware and Champions League football for a place on the football sidelines.
Whilst the Japanese striker still holds a place dear in the Celtic supporters’ hearts, many will be hoping that Kyogo will end his Rennes hell and find himself a new club.
Because with the talent that he has, it’s clear the French club are wasting the Celtic hero’s talents and that is something Kyogo doesn’t deserve.
