Exit Incoming? Club President Reveals Surprise ‘Departure Pact’ for Star Wanted by Sunderland and Fulham – Stunning Transfer Development Could Accelerate Move Ahead of Schedule!

Strasbourg’s president Marc Keller has disclosed a transfer agreement that could pave the way for Sunderland and Fulham target Habib Diarra to leave this summer, amid a £18.7m bidding contest.

The 21-year-old Senegalese midfielder, also attracting interest from Leeds United and Bournemouth, was promised a potential exit in 2023 when he extended his contract with Strasbourg. Keller revealed on RMC’s *After Foot* that if a suitable offer arrives, Diarra, the club’s captain, could depart.

Leeds reportedly made an £18.7m bid, but transfer expert Ben Jacobs indicated on X that negotiations have stalled due to issues with the player’s side. Sunderland, newly promoted to the Premier League, are actively pursuing targets, with sporting director Kristjaan Speakman emphasizing a strategic shift to build a squad capable of top-flight survival. Speakman noted extensive recruitment efforts, including recent talks across Europe.

Diarra’s future remains uncertain as the transfer window progresses.
