Brighton Land Proven Winner: Japan Star Moeka Minami Becomes First Summer Signing in Statement Move
Brighton & Hove Albion have completed their first signing of the summer with the acquisition of Japanese international defender Moeka Minami.
The 26-year-old arrives from Italian giants AS Roma, where she enjoyed a highly successful three-year stint.
During her time in Rome, Minami played a key role in helping the club secure consecutive Serie A titles and also featured prominently in their UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigns.
On the international front, Minami is a seasoned campaigner with 61 appearances for the Japanese national team.
She has represented her country at the last two FIFA Women’s World Cups and was part of the squad at the 2024 Olympic Games.
