The chase for Rodrigo Muniz is reaching a dramatic climax, with the Fulham forward now at the center of a fierce tug-of-war between two ambitious clubs. Muniz has the luxury of choosing between a move to Serie A giants Atalanta or a Premier League return with Leeds United.
Leeds, preparing for their season opener against Everton in just five days, are desperate to add firepower to their squad after a quiet period in the transfer market.

If successful, this would shatter Atalanta’s existing transfer record of £26m, while also eclipsing Leeds’ record £35.5m signing of Georginio Rutter. Leeds remain in the race and haven’t given up hope, but with Muniz leaning towards Champions League football, the momentum is firmly with Atalanta.
Whichever side wins, the deal promises to be historic both financially and in terms of ambition.
