NafisaCarlos Baleba has sent social media into overdrive after his now-deleted post caught the attention of everyone ahead of Manchester United vs. Brighton.
Man United secured back-to-back league wins for the first time since Ruben Amorim‘s appointment following their famous victory against Liverpool last Sunday.
They will be aiming for a third consecutive win when they resume their Premier League campaign on Saturday against Brighton, who beat Newcastle United 2-1 in their last outing.
The league fixture will see Baleba in action at Old Trafford, having been strongly linked with a move to Man United during the summer transfer window.
Amorim identified Baleba as a transfer target and reportedly attempted to recruit him for the 2025/26 season.
He remains on Man United’s radar as Amorim looks to sign a midfielder who can accelerate his team’s rebuild.

Ahead of Man United welcoming Brighton, Baleba shared a matchday graphic previewing his side’s league game.
The 21-year-old captioned the post: “Coming to Old Trafford,” accompanied with a laughing face emoji.
Baleba’s caption appears to be a reference to reports linking him with a move to Man United during the summer.
He swiftly deleted his post before re-uploading with a different caption, but his original post didn’t go unnoticed among fans on social media.

One X user wrote: “‘Coming to old Trafford’ bro is still dreaming it.”
A second said: “Bro is twerking for us but I am taking Wharton over him.”
A third commented: “He wants us so bad,” while another added: “It’s so obvious now he wants to be a United player.”
Baleba has made 86 appearances across all competitions for Brighton following his switch from Lille in the summer of 2023.
The Cameroon international could be the next high-profile departure at Brighton given Man United’s interest.
The Seagulls value him at a whopping £100 million so the Red Devils will have to dig into their pockets to acquire the star midfielder.
