😠 Nuno Espírito Santo’s Blistering Call for Action After Leeds DefeatWest Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo did not hold back in his post-match assessment following his side’s disappointing 2-1 defeat to Daniel Farke’s Leeds United at Elland Road. The loss, which extended the Hammers’ winless run and deepened their relegation fears, led the Portuguese coach to make a surprisingly candid admission about his own tactics, which he followed up with a vehement demand for Premier League action regarding the overall quality of play.The crucial turning point, according to Nuno, wasn’t an issue with Farke’s Leeds side, but rather his own pre-game decision not to start a recognised striker. He explained, “We have to work hard and be much better. I feel the players want to, but they switch off in many moments,” stressing the need for more focus and resilience from players across the division to avoid such “unacceptable” errors. The former Spurs and Forest boss’s unusual focus on individual accountability and the league’s overall quality shows the immense pressure he is under as West Ham hover perilously close to the bottom.
