NafisaKEMAR ROOFE’s post-Rangers career hasn’t really got going.
But the title-winning striker has dropped a huge hint that he could be about to make a return after five months without a club.
Roofe, 32, spent four years at Rangers between 2020 and 2024.
He played a key role in the Light Blues’ Scottish Premiership title triumph with 14 league goals during the 2020/21 season.
The frontman’s time at Ibrox was, however, blighted by injury.
He managed just 18 league appearances across his final two campaigns before departing the Gers at the end of his contract in June 2024.

Roofe would spend the next eight months as a free agent before joining Derby County on a short-term deal in February this year.
But injury struck again and a hamstring issue picked up the very next month brought an end to the season.
Roofe made just three appearances for the Rams.
Although he was released at the end of the season, the Jamaica international remained with Derby during pre-season.

Ultimately, the club decided against offering him a fresh contract.
With the season now well underway, Roofe remains a free agent.
He’s launched a successful side hustle in the meantime with his Two Halves Football Player Journal business being endorsed by several fellow pros.
Roofe has also launched his own football academy in the Midlands.
And that’s where he might be about to make his own footie return.
Roofe was born in Walsall and there has been plenty of talk that he’s been training with his home town club among fans.
Supporters of the League Two outfit have been taking to social media to share the whispers they’ve heard about Roofe potentially joining the club.
And now, the player himself has put some meat on the bones.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Roofe shared a picture showing his football boots on the floor.
But more strikingly, he’s wearing trousers bearing the Walsall FC logo.
Nothing has been made official, but it certainly appears as though Roofe could be gearing up for a comeback at the club.
Walsall are currently sitting top of English football’s fourth tier on 26 points.

But it’s VERY tight at the top of the table with the Saddlers only above Swindon on goal difference.
In fact, just five points separate Walsall with Cambridge United who sit 13th so there’s certainly plenty of possibility for change.
