Guimaraes loves playing for Newcastle and has embraced the city and its people since the moment he arrived.
A captain both on and off the field, he is far too settled on Tyneside to start thinking about upping sticks mid-season.
There will be a day when Guimaraes leaves the club but, hopefully, that’s not for another few years yet.
