With Rodon clearly compromised after being brought down by Brian Brobbey and Adingra, Farke failed to take control of the situation.
The Welsh centre-back continued to play on despite limping, and he ended up playing the 23-year-old forward onside for the first goal.
In the end, the 28-year-old was replaced by Ao Tanaka at around the half-hour mark, with the Whites changing their system.
Had the German manager made the change earlier, it could be argued that they wouldn’t have conceded in the manner they did.
