Wolves cannot fall for the same transfer mistake
Dwight McNeil could offer Wolves a vital combination of Premier League experience and creative output at a time when the club is desperate to climb out of the relegation zone.
Known for his crossing ability and disciplined defensive work rate, McNeil would provide a much-needed safety net and technical quality that Wolves have lacked this season.
However, with Everton manager David Moyes currently facing a thin squad and showing reluctance to sanction his departure, a deal is far from certain.
Rob Edwards cannot afford to remain stagnant while waiting for Everton to decide on McNeil’s availability. Matt Jackson and his team must act decisively on alternative targets.
Whether it is pursuing options like Sam Surridge to bolster the strike force or looking for other wide players, Wolves need immediate reinforcements to support Edwards.
