NafisaLeeds United manager Daniel Farke has moved to shut down any speculation over the future of Jayden Bogle ahead of the game against Newcastle United.
Jayden Bogle has been a key part of the Leeds squad since joining from Sheffield United, having caught the eye with his swashbuckling displays at right-back.
These performances have reportedly caught the eye of Leeds’ Premier League rivals in recent weeks, causing speculation over his future at the club.
Everton were linked with a move for the full-back after his impressive start to the season at Elland Road, with James Justin proving to be a capable back-up for Bogle.
However, Farke has now moved to kill off any speculation over Bogle’s future at Leeds as he prepares his side to face Newcastle.

The likes of Joel Piroe and Willy Gnonto are struggling to force their way into Farke’s plans.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Leeds’ game against Newcastle, via LUTV, Farke was adamant that Bogle would not leave Leeds in the near future.
According to Farke, rumours are a normal part of the January transfer window. However, he has no intention to allow his flying full-back to leave the club.

The Leeds boss said: “It’s January, this time of the year there are always some rumours or whatever, but no one has to be concerned.
“Jayden Bogle was our player, is our player, and will be our player, so he will definitely stay with us. He’s an important player for us. It’s not even a topic we have to speak about, so it makes no sense.”

Leeds United cannot afford to lose any key players in January
Farke’s unequivocal statement that Bogle will not leave in the current transfer window will undoubtedly come as a relief to Leeds fans who have grown to love his marauding runs down the right wing.
However, the fact that Bogle is one of several players who are doubtful for the trip to Newcastle highlights just how thin the Leeds squad is.

All of the talk heading into the transfer window has been about the need to strengthen the Leeds squad, making the suggestion that Bogle could leave in January particularly jarring.
