Rangers Demand PGMOL-Style Transparency After Livingston Controversy

GLASGOW — Rangers Football Club has released an official statement following the fallout of their 2-2 draw with Livingston, explicitly calling for a level of transparency and accountability from the SFA that mirrors the PGMOL standards seen in the English Premier League.

​The fury stems from a late incident involving winger Mikey Moore, who was brought down by Cammy Kerr. Despite VAR official David Dickinson reviewing the footage for several minutes, no penalty was awarded, and on-field referee Ryan Lee was not sent to the monitor. Rangers manager Danny Röhl expressed disbelief, noting that if the foul was outside the box, it necessitated a red card for DOGSO (Denial of an Obvious Goal-Scoring Opportunity); if inside, a penalty.

​The Ibrox board is reportedly demanding that the SFA’s Referee Operations department adopt the PGMOL’s practice of admitting “significant human errors” publicly and providing detailed technical breakdowns of controversial calls.
